About Me

IMG_1767.JPG

I bring over 25 years of experience supporting youth, parents, and families as they navigate life’s challenges, with a particular focus on adoption and foster care. My work has centered on helping children and teens manage behavioral and emotional difficulties, navigate identity and attachment concerns, and heal from experiences of trauma, anxiety, and depression. I also provide family therapy, parent coaching, and guidance around permanency planning to help families strengthen their connections and find stability.

In addition, I have extensive experience working within the LGBTQIA+ community, supporting individuals, couples, and families in building affirming relationships and living authentically. I also work with clients living with or affected by HIV, offering a space of understanding, respect, and empowerment.

As a parent myself, I understand firsthand the joys and challenges of raising children and teenagers. This personal experience informs my empathy and helps me connect deeply with the families I work with.

I earned my Master of Social Work (MSW) degree from Portland State University in 2001 and am licensed as a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW #LW00009294) in the State of Washington.
